Photaf exposure equalization

November 7, 2010 2 comments

I’m working now on exposure equalization for Photos
that were taken with Photaf.  Equalizing the exposure will assist in making
the transition between pictures more smooth thus making seamless panoramas
using your Android phone.

Photaf.com is now available

October 28, 2010 8 comments

I’ve created a new website that is integrated with Photaf.

Check it out at the following address:
http://www.photaf.com

Using Photaf, you can upload your panoramas to Photaf.com public panoramas gallery.

I’ve integrate a flash based 3D panorama viewer, so you can easily view it with the comfort of your desktop computer.

In addition, you can share your panorama on Facebook or twitter.

Photaf goes landscape!

September 13, 2010 1 comment

Photaf version v1.1.7 is now landscape application,
this is done for the following reasons:

  1. Reduce the number of pictures to be take from 17 to about 9
  2. Support 2.1 device that cannot display portrait camera preview

I’ll be glad to here your comments about this new landscape change.

Another big change is the ability to pinch to zoom when viewing the panorama.

Photaf – v0.9.3 – Stable

This version includes lots of work I’ve to stable the app.
I’ve fixed some critical memory leaks and a bunch of deadly bugs.
So the app should be more stable and responsive now. If this is not the case,
send me your feedback, preferred with the crash logs.

Now the it should be more stable I can concentrate on some of the next features:

  • Manual panning mode by touching the screen
  • Barrel distortion correction
  • Equalize pictures brightness
  • Automatic stitching
  • Automatic picture taking

And finally, here are some screen shots of this version for your enjoyment:
